The event will be held in the Chan Shun Auditorium on the Avondale College of Higher of Education Campus in Cooranbong.

WHO IS IT FOR?

This event is for any church member who has a passion for sharing the love of God in their local church or community. This includes but is not limited to; elders, deacons, deaconesses, youth leaders, children's ministries leaders, personal ministries leaders and evangelism leaders.

WHAT WILL IT COST?

The North NSW Conference office will cover all running costs including meals, accommodation (for guests travelling more than 130km from home) in order to provide this training to the local church leaders at no cost to them.

TITLE: Youth
PRESENTER: Peter Casillas

TITLE: Thinking Like A Leader
PRESENTER: Justin Lawman and Neil Thompson
SUMMARY: Leadership is a crucial part of local church operations. Leadership is a definite skill that can be taught to people. Learning to thinking like a leader is an essential skill that will enable a person in a position of authority to make great decisions on a regular basis. In this worship we will cover topics that will give you the skills you need to be an even more successful local church leader.

TITLE: Practical Implementation in Local Church
PRESENTER: Mark Webster
SUMMARY: This workshop will provide practical tips on how to commence a community engagement ministry in your local church. Mark Webster, CEO of ADRA Australia, David Haupt, Serving Humanity Director for the North NSW Conference and Sau Finau, Church Planter, with share from their combined fifty years of experience serving humanity. Each speaker will give half an hour of their best strategies, tools and tips for starting a new ministry in your local church, followed by an opportunity to pick their brains in a Q & A Session. Come expecting to be inspired by the way God has used the speakers to fulfil Jesus commission and go away with a clear understanding of your next steps.

SUMMARY: Jesus was the most capable minister, ever. If anyone were going to work alone it would’ve been Him. Yet He didn’t work alone. Before Jesus embarked upon His mission of seeking and saving the lost He called together an evangelistic small group. It was a ministry team that Jesus intended to use to change the world. Come and find out more about how to function as Jesus did, in an evangelistic small group.

TITLE: Spiritual Conversations with Secular People & Leading People to Make a Decision
PRESENTER: Ben Rea
SUMMARY: In this two-part workshop you will discover tools that equip you with the motivation and confidence to share your faith with others. You will learn basic principles and steps to identify the signs that someone is under the conviction of the Holy Spirit and how to lead that person to a decision to follow Jesus.
